Joe Harris

Joe Harris brings a unique combination of legal expertise, executive leadership, and business experience to his legal practice. Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington, Joe has spent more than two decades advising businesses, leading operations, and navigating complex legal and commercial matters.

A lifelong resident of Whitman County, Joe was born in Pullman, Washington, and raised in nearby Johnson, Washington. He and his family currently reside in Pullman, where he remains deeply connected to the community he has called home throughout his life.

Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, and Master of Business Administration from Washington State University before receiving his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Prior to entering private practice, Joe served for more than 20 years in the high-technology industry as an executive leader, corporate officer, and in-house counsel. His experience in business operations, corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning allows him to provide clients with practical legal advice informed by real-world business experience.

Joe’s international experience includes serving as a Fulbright Fellow in Tirana, Albania, through the United States Department of State. During his fellowship, he studied small business development in Albania’s emerging free-market economy, taught management and entrepreneurship courses at a local university, and volunteered with organizations supporting economic development and employment initiatives.

Committed to serving his community, Joe has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, served on the Whitman County Citizens Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials, and provided pro bono legal services through Whitman County Legal Services. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and remains dedicated to making quality legal services accessible to those in need.

Outside the office, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, serving as a USA Pickleball Ambassador, refereeing soccer as a FIFA-certified referee, and serving in his local church.

Joe’s combination of legal training, executive leadership, and deep roots in the Pullman community enables him to provide thoughtful, practical, and results-oriented counsel to individuals, families, and businesses throughout Washington.
