What is Mediation?
The mediation process involves both opposing parties spending part of a day with a neutral mediator, usually in separate rooms, to attempt to resolve some or all of their issues out of court. The work of a good mediator involves listening to both parties’ perspectives and trying to achieve a compromise to allow them to move on with their lives.
