Marina Medearis

Paralegal/Office Manager

Marina Medearis is a paralegal and office manager with Boyd Law Group. She has worked for this firm—and Esser, Sandberg & Boyd (from which BLG evolved)—for almost eight years. Prior to this, she worked at a law office in Lewiston, Idaho, for a year and a half and before that, for almost another eight years at several law offices in California—the most notable being the firm currently known as Gibson Dunn. In California, Marina’s interest in law prompted her to choose Paralegalism as her major in college—with the hope to later pursue her J.D. and work with Legal Aid (to help those who couldn’t otherwise afford to pay attorney fees). Although familial necessities precluded that dream, she has enjoyed the role she has been able to play in providing assistance to attorneys and clients—not only with her knowledge and experience, but also having sympathy and a genuine interest in helping people in various situations.
As her children are all adults, Marina primarily spends her free time with her fur babies, playing hockey during the winter season, enjoying time on an SUP or kayak during warmer months, and hiking year-round.
